FREEDOM: a state of being free or at liberty rather than in confinement or under physical restraint. Freedom comes from discipline.
Freedom in yoga comes when you step onto your mat, and open up to Grace. Freedom is just being open to yourself, and being vulnerable to the truths about yourself.
Freedom is inhaling. Freedom is allowing yourself to breathe and stay open to anything that arises. Freedom is being able to be who you are right here, right now, in this moment and being ok with who that is today.
Freedom is exhaling. Freedom is moving and unlocking those things that weigh you down. Freedom is letting go of the negative thought patterns and emotions that get stuck, and hold you back. Freedom is exhaling it all away.
Freedom comes within. Freedom is giving yourself love and acceptance to be where you are, right now. Even if it's not where you want to be. Freedom is yoga.
